Player Fundraising

The Georgia  Pearls Girls Basketball Club is a program operated by LADYS, Inc. ( Leadership And Development of our Youth in Sports, Inc.  We are a not-for-profit 501 c 3 community service organization.  Donations made to the program are tax deductible.  However, donations for player's fees are not tax deductible.

Each player must raise $200.00 to contribute to the expense of gym rental.  This fee can be raised or players can opt out and pay the gym contribution.  Below are the fundraisers that are presently being offered by the program. 

Players have the opportunity to raise above the $200.00 to use funds for fees, travel, or any related GA Pearls activity or event.  All funds raised must be applied prior to May 31st or the funds will go into the program's general fund.

OurFund is a turnkey platform that provides the tools for teams, groups, and organizations to create and manage highly effective online fundraising campaigns. By engaging potential supporters through Email and Social Media (Facebook & Twitter), you can raise money online fast and easy by using our proven fundraising tools.

Each player will be given their own website that family and friends can access and donate directly to you.  You will keep 80% of the donation and OURFUND will keep 20%.  No funds are kept by the organization.  Once your donations are received by the GA Pearls, the funds will be credited to your account.

An email will be sent to you once your registration is complete for you to get started.  This Fundraiser will operate for the month on March

Double Good popcorn fundraiser is a quick and easy activity that allow you to raise funds for your participation..  You keep 50% of all your sales.  The Fundraiser last 4 days (March 7-11). Quick and easy.

The Shoot-A-Thon works just like a Walk-A-Thon.  It is a fundraising campaign where players must solicit pledges for their shooting expertise.  Players will have an opportunity to shoot a variety of shots and donors will contributed their pledges based on the player's success. 

Players can request a contribution letter to give to a potential supporter.  All requests must be made to: info@gapearls.com. Please remember that all fees contributed to player's fees are NOT tax deductible.  However, if a potential contributor would like to support any TEAM efforts, that is tax deductible.
